Deploying ADF 11g application to Tomcat 6.x

Using JDeveloper 11g 11.1.1.1.0

Following a post on Oracle forums I successfully deployed an ADF applicaiton (Faces + BC) on Tomcat

The one additional important thing I made was to comment out the JPS filter in web.xml file – which is related to ADF Security  -

Final Note to mention that running ADF on any application server other than Web Logic requires a ADF Runtime license – ADF comes bundled with WebLogic license
